• Is water used?
  • Our dry load bank does not use any water at all.
  • We have a special generator. Can it be tested?
  • Testing can be done for diesel, gas turbine, UPS, and other generators.
We can of course test from 200V/400V to 3300V/6300V/6600V, and even extra high voltages over 13,200V.
  • What is the standard voltage range?
  • The standard voltage ranges are as follows, but we can also provide equipment for other voltages.
[high voltage type] 3φ6600V/3300V (We can also test 6900V and 6300V. We can also test 1φ loads.)
[low voltage type] 400V/200V (We can also test 480V. We can also test 1φ loads.)
[direct current type] Please contact us regarding capacities and voltages. We will meet your needs.
  • What are the temperatures generated during operations?
  • It depends on the capacity, but 80 – 200 ℃ is a reasonable estimate.
  • Can the units be used outdoors?
  • Feel free to use the units outdoors. (Except during torrential rains or typhoons.)
When using indoors, be careful of heat exhaust, and provide sufficient air exchange.
  • Can the units be installed indoors?
  • Yes, if there is sufficient air exchange.
  • We have large capacity generators. What is the maximum kW power that can be tested?
  • We have experience with up to 32,000 kW load testing.
  • Can the equipment be used continuously?
  • There are no limitations on continuous use. (However, it will affect the unit lifespan.)
  • Do you sell dry load bank?
  • We sell low voltage and direct current dry load bank. For high voltage dry load bank, we require that you purchase a service and maintenance contract and agree to some other conditions for sale.
  • Can equipment with specs other than those listed be manufactured?
  • We create dry load bank for all concievable uses, all in house from design to manufacture. Please contact us with any inquiries.
  • How should I request an estimate?
  • Please fill in our specified form and send it to us by email.
  • What is an emergency generator?
  • These are power generators which operate sprinklers, fire hydrants, pumps, and other necessary equipment for firefighting.
A load test and confirms whether firefighting equipment can operate under emergency conditions.
  • Is this testing obligatory? Or optional?
  • The Japanese Fire Service Act mandates a yearly inspection with at least 30% load.
  • We operate the unit at least once every three months without a load. Will this qualify under the Japanese Fire Service Act?
  • That is a no-load operation test, as specified in the Electrical Business Operations Act, and tests whether the automatic switch to emergency power is working.
The Japanese Fire Service Act mandates that you conduct a yearly inspection with actual load of at least 30%.
  • Is the load test an optional test?
  • The Japanese Fire Service Act and Building Standards Act mandate a yearly inspection with actual load to test generator functionality.
  • What happens if we were to skip this testing?
  • If you do not test with an actual load, the generator load during an emergency may lead to malfunction or to a fire.
Penalties will be applied in accordance with the Fire Service Act. (Example penalties: JPY 300,000 to 1 million.
